Is time travel possible? – Colin Stuart

View full lesson:

Time travel is a staple of science fiction stories, but is it actually possible? It turns out nature does allow a way of bending time, an exciting possibility suggested by Albert Einstein when he discovered special relativity over one hundred years ago. Colin Stuart imagines where (or, when) this fascinating phenomenon, time dilation, may one day take us.

  1. an ant can't move an elephant….likewise I believe this tiny forces can't Change the speed of light….maybe gravity can….maybe speed of light changes near blackwhole or by other massive gravitational pull….so, it's not a right theory ''speed of light is constant everywhere"

  2. ok first of all, if you were to time travel, where would you ACTUALLY travel? would your body just dissappear into the wind and go to the space time continuom? is that even matter?

  3. I didn't quite get that but I watched some other video where some Prof Kip said that if you travel at the speed of light, time will completely stop for you and if you travel faster, time starts going backwards. So, the faster you go, time will slow down as much.

  4. We are time traveling now,by a second into the future every seconds passed so yeah time travel is possible, the only is to speed it up by going faster as fast as speed of light so yeah just like he said.
