We’re confident our travel video guide covered some of the top attractions in Paris along with some suggestions that wouldn’t necessarily be found in a tourism guide book including information on festivals, arts, entertainment and dining along with French cuisine. Most of the French foods we sampled would be found at any kind of local French bakery (pâtisserie).

50 Things to do in Paris, France | Top Attractions Travel Guide Travel Video Transcript:

Hello, and welcome to Paris. This week we are exploring the city of love, city of lights and city of art. This video will be showing you the top 50 things to do while you visit Paris.

So we’re wrapping things up here. What would be your one tip for visiting Paris? Well, I have recently spent a whole ten days here in summer. I would say that if you really want to visit the art galleries, the museums and all of the main attractions you should probably avoid summer and like either come in the spring or the fall or even winter. Because the lines are insane and sometimes you have to wait like an hour and a half or two hours.

So how about you? What are your final thoughts on Paris? So my finals thoughts is obviously Paris is one of the top cities in the world in terms of attractions. There is going to be garbage, there is going to be lines, there is going to be some areas that are a bit of an eyesore. But there is also a lot of beauty and there is also a lot to do here.

And that concludes our guide of the top 50 things to do and see in Paris. We hope you enjoyed watching, and let us know if there are other places you would add to this list.

This is part of our Travel in France series showcasing French culture, French arts, French foods & French cuisine.

  1. In Paris, many of the parents ignore traffic laws with their children and many of these parents are civil servants. Youth in France deserve law-abiding, ethical and conscientious civil servants, their future actually depends upon it. Let's double traffic fines in capital cities and watch long overdue, law-abiding streets and adults appear, in Paris. The World Health Organization, Road Safety Office, feels that law-abiding streets and highways, are long overdue in France. What do you think?

  2. Thanks for posting this. I can't get the Crepe out of my mind it looks so delicious and I love watching things about Paris. I wish I could go but I'm a bit old so I watch it on You tube but it's great. Thanks a lot, good job!

  3. Thank you for this fun exposition on Paris. I enjoyed your perspective. You are right about the summers in Paris. The crowds seem to double on June 1. However, in August, it is quite a different story, because many Parisians vacation at that time, so it is not so very crowded. With a little research, one can find some good hotel deals, and bicycle touring is much less hazardous. Paris is great to visit in May, and it is also wonderful, and quite different, to visit around Christmas and New Year's. If you are interested in French churches, you ought to visit Saint Sulpice, which has arguably the most famous pipe organ in the world — and it can be heard every week, on Sunday mornings, for free.
Oh, and add this to your list of attractions: the Palais Royale, on the Rive Droite, which is a popular garden and promenade spot with classic architecture. It was featured in the Audrey Hepburn/Cary Grant movie, "Charade." Everyone goes there to enjoy their lunches, or just a pleasant walk in the middle of the city.

  4. If you visit Paris , be prepared for dog shit, the rudest people on the planet, cars that will run you over any time you try to cross the street , and people that have NO concept of customer service, common courtesy or any rules or laws. If you need help try to find a non French person if possible. and lower your expectations as if you are in a 3rd world country because you are.
